Conduct meetings with account managers and technicians to discuss safety, assess workloads, set production goals, identify priorities, review actions taken and plan future actions.
Coordinate and schedule onsite and laboratory calibration services.
Interact with other departments to ensure an exceptional level of Customer Service and to solve problems in an effective and timely manner
As necessary, to assist in recruitment and selection for the service team, appraisals, performance management, training, coaching and disciplinary meetings.
Prepare and review forecasts to ensure achievement of financial targets and control of operational costs.
Meet ISO 9001 & ISO 17025 Quality Management System objectives and follow processes.
Follow directions of executive management.
Communicate via phone, fax, computer, email and personal calls.
Attend training sessions.
Travel is required.
Work beyond the 40 hour, 5 days a week as necessary.
Meet deadlines as necessary.
Carry a cell phone or paging device.
Willing to assist other co-workers when available or time permits.
Experience
Two (2) years or more industrial sales or service preferred.
Management training a plus.
Military training is a plus.
Qualifications
Use of a computer – i.e. Microsoft MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint programs.
Electrical and mechanical aptitude, basic understanding of electronic and mechanical concepts.
Experience in calibration laboratory operations and management.
Read and understand sales equipment specifications and basic technical manual procedures.
