Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Manager plans and implements the overall policies, procedures, and services of the cardiac catheterization lab. Ensures efficient and effective lab operations, including quality control and compliance with regulations and policies. Being a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Manager supports Cardiologists with service delivery and resources. May be responsible for hiring and training of new employees as well as budgetary control for the lab. Additionally, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Manager requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a director. The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. About the job: This role will offer an abundance of growth opportunities to the experienced Cath Lab Nurse Leader. Reporting directly to the Director of Cardiovascular Services and Cath Lab, the Cath Lab Nurse Manager will have the pleasure of overseeing a team of approximately 20 FTEs across 3 separate full-service cardiac catheterization labs. The nurse leader will assist the director with expansion of the service line, and will work closely with 10 physicians to perform a variety of procedures including MitraClip, TAVR, among other invasive and minimally invasive procedures.
