Utah Testing and Engineering, a subsidiary of Sunrise Engineering is currently initiating a search for a Laboratory Manager to support our growing organization. This position will be based in West Valley and require traveling to visit other mobile labs.

Your Impact 

The Laboratory Manager provides both strategic and operational support to service center managers throughout the organization. 

• Manage all UTE Lab Locations and employees, including Mobile labs that are strategically moved around the state per project needs.  

• Maintain current certifications as well as all obtained while working for UTE 

• Fill out report forms for all inspections and testing performed 

• Submit all report forms at end of shift 

• Perform ACI Concrete Field Level 1 testing as needed 

• Perform testing for soils, asphalt, and concrete.  

• Other duties as assigned

Who You Are: 

Required Qualifications 

• Experience with special inspection and construction materials testing inspection. 

• Qualified candidates will have ACI Level I certification, and WAQTC Certifications.  

• Must have experience with asphalt, aggregate, embankment, concrete, and SRDTT.  

• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and the ability to maintain company vehicle. 

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
