Cardiac Technician jobs in Fort Lauderdale, FL

• Full time position with a busy Cardiologist office.
• Is mandatory for candidates to have one or more years of experience before applying.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a must for this position.

Provides medical assistance to physician, obtains vital signs, greets and chaperons patients during their visit, maintains medical documentation, schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician, processes prescription requests and referrals.

Among other responsibilities

• Assisting the physician during examinations.
• -Greeting patients
• -Experience in performing EKG
• -Attaching and removal of 24 hour holter and event monitors
• -Knowledge on performance of stress and tilt table test
• -Accurate entering of electronic medical records.
• -Updates and recording of patient medications.
• Patient Care Experience
• Experience in Primary and Cardiology Physician's office
• Answering phone calls

Hours: 8:30 am-5:00 pm

Applicant must be fluent in English and Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $19.00 per hour
