Cardiac Technician jobs in Great Falls, MT

Cardiac Technician operates heart/lung machines and related laboratory apparatus as well as physiological pressure monitoring systems. Prepares written documentation as required by the profession and the department, regarding individualized treatment plans, evaluation results, and progress reports. Being a Cardiac Technician may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Also may require completion of a certificate in health technology or scientific instrumentation in electrocardiography. Additionally, Cardiac Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Cardiac Technician's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     As a cardiac cath lab technologist, you'll assist with catheterization of the heart and other electrophysiology procedures. Working in an operating room, cardiac cath lab or similar healthcare facility, you'll prepare equipment, assist surgeons, monitor patient vitals, help maintain sterile conditions and more. You might care for patients undergoing angioplasty, stent implantation, ablation, fluoroscopy or other procedures.

    Requirements

    • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience as a cardiac cath lab technologist
    • ARRT Certification
    • BLS Certification (AHA)
    • Current state license
