Cardiac Technician operates heart/lung machines and related laboratory apparatus as well as physiological pressure monitoring systems. Prepares written documentation as required by the profession and the department, regarding individualized treatment plans, evaluation results, and progress reports. Being a Cardiac Technician may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Also may require completion of a certificate in health technology or scientific instrumentation in electrocardiography. Additionally, Cardiac Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Cardiac Technician's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Cardiac Rehab RN.
The Cardiopulmonary Rehab Nurse is a professional Registered Nurse who is accountable for the delivery of quality patient care. This includes assessing and participating in the total care and teaching. Care is delivered in collaboration with the patient, family members, physicians, peers and other members of the healthcare team.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Cardiopulmonary Rehab class coverage
• Patient Education
In order to help us continue to provide exceptional patient/customer service experiences, we are looking for candidates with the following:
• Current RN license required with 2 or more yrs RN experiences
• Active BLS certification
• Excellent customer service skills
