Prepares written documentation as required by the profession and the department, regarding individualized treatment plans, evaluation results, and progress reports. Being a Cardiac Technician may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Also may require completion of a certificate in health technology or scientific instrumentation in electrocardiography. Additionally, Cardiac Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Cardiac Technician's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. No weekends, no nights, no holidays, no call.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Sonography/Ultrasound Technology Program.
Current RDCS or RCS required. Bilingual.
Ability to perform high quality work with little supervision. Excellent patient and communication skills.
Experience in echocardiography necessary.
