Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist jobs in Gulfport, MS
Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist sets up and operates heart/lung machines that support organ function during cardiac surgery or other procedure where circulatory or respiratory function is disrupted. Operates equipment to produce bypass, coronary perfusion, recirculation or partial bypass, or to alter blood temperature, balance, or content. Being a Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist requires an advanced degree. Requires a Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) credential. Additionally, Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Clinic Location:1408 44th Ave Gulfport, MS 39501Job Summary:Assists in the efficient operation of the outpatient physician clinic. Establishes and maintains accurate clinical and financial records. Verifies insurance benefits, perform recertification as required, and secures appropriate payment at the time services are rendered. Establishes and maintains an accurate patient schedule, coordinating with appropriate disciplines.Required Qualifications:Education: High School Diplomas or equivalent.Licensure: N/AExperience: One (1) year of clerical experience or one (1) year of college credits (minimum 24 hours) may be substituted for required experience.Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Excellent communication skills. Proficient computer skills. Knowledge of general office procedures and uses of office equipment. Ability to multitask and manage high-volume workloads. Ability to interpret federal and state guidelines.Preferred Qualifications:Education: N/ALicensure: N/AExperience: Two (2) years of experience in a business office, registration, or billing in a hospital or clinic setting.Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Knowledge of medical terminology.
