Perfusionist - SURGERY GENERAL MSLA at St Patrick Hospital-Broadway Bldg-Missoula Montana

Responsible for providing clinical support, treatment measurement, and supplementation of the cardiopulmonary and circulatory system of the patient during various surgical procedures. The perfusionist is skilled and qualified through academic and clinical education, and operates extracorporeal circulation equipment during any medical situation where it is necessary to support or replace the patient's cardiopulmonary/circulatory function, and also ensures the proper management of physiologic functions by monitoring the necessary variables.

Shift: Variable shift, Full-time position.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Graduation from an accredited perfusion education program; program must be accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education or the Accreditation Committee-Perfusion Education.

• upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

• within 1 year of hire: National Certified Clinical Perfusionist - American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion

• ECMO experieince preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a Cardiac Perfusionist.
