Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist jobs in Macon, GA
Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist sets up and operates heart/lung machines that support organ function during cardiac surgery or other procedure where circulatory or respiratory function is disrupted. Operates equipment to produce bypass, coronary perfusion, recirculation or partial bypass, or to alter blood temperature, balance, or content. Being a Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist requires an advanced degree. Requires a Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) credential. Additionally, Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Perfusionist: Heart of the Operation
We are seeking an experienced Per Diem Perfusionist to help support our SpecialtyCare team in Macon, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to support our team of two (2) Perfusionists supporting two (2) talented surgeons. The adult only caseload includes a variety of case types with no ECMO.
SpecialtyCare is the largest provider of perfusion services in the United States. With our national presence and local professionals, we support 1 in 8 of all heart surgeries in the country. Position Requirements:
- Graduate of Accredited Perfusion training program, minimum required.
- Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or meets other Company requirements as a perfusionist.
- Ability to work on Call; must live within 30 minutes from the hospital
