Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist jobs in Stamford, CT

Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient healthcare team!

• Position: Licensed Practical Nurse
• Department/Unit: ENT (Allergy/Pulmonary)
• Setting: Outpatient Hospital floor
• Location: Norwalk, CT
• Schedule: 8am/8:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Salary: $28 - $38 DOE
• Job Type: Contract (3 months) with the ability to get extended, and/or full-time.

LPN will be working closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team comprised of MD's, Nurse Practitioner, & RN's where they will be:

• Obtains and accurately documents patient vital signs, weight: reports any abnormalities to physician.
• Assists with specimen collection and testing as necessary
• Schedules patient testing and pre certifies if insurances requires.
• Provides minor treatment as directed by physician, assists physicians with minor procedures.
• Provides education as indicated after assessing the learning needs of the patient and or family.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing School Program
• Valid Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Excellent communication, patient care, organizational and time management skills
• Must have EMR/EHR software experience
• At least one (1) year of LPN experience in a hospital or outpatient setting, but for the right candidate we will consider LPN’s with less than one year.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
