Works closely with hospital staff and physicians to implement standards for patient care that comply with all laws and regulations. Being a Cardiology Director ensures the department meets the current needs and addresses the future needs of patients by introducing new technologies, services, and procedures. This position does not require MD. Additionally, Cardiology Director requires a master's degree. Typically reports to an executive. The Cardiology Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Cardiology Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Position Summary:
Clinic Director Specialty Clinics will oversee the daily operations of the assigned physician practice clinics. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient processes throughout the practice to meet with clinics volume and revenue goals. The position will oversee quality metrics, conduct education and training related to these metrics, and be responsible for meeting quality goals. Clinic Director will work closely with LCPP Administration, Hospital Administration, clinic managers and hospital directors on a daily basis. Clinic Director will assist with budget preparation for clinics. Specialty Service Director will oversee the Las Cruces Physician Services Cardiology Service Line.
