MEDICAL ASSISTANT- FULL AND PART TIME
AMS Cardiology, a large private Cardiology practice in Horsham, PA, is expanding and currently has positions available for full and part time Medical Assistants/technicians to assist physicians and advanced practice providers.
The successful candidate must be able to work within a flexible schedule with hours ranging from 7:00 am to 6:30pm. Full-time employees are scheduled in 8-hour shifts. We also have various flex part-time hours available with a minimum of 16 hours a week. Schedules are done 1 week in advance, which also allows the employee some flexibility in choices of shift times. Candidates must be willing to travel to our off-site locations, if needed, located in Abington and Montgomeryville.
REQUIREMENTS FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANT:
*Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a clinical setting outside of any externship.
*Proficiency in EKGs and obtaining vital signs.
* Knowledge of medications and prescription refill experience helpful.
* Must have basic computer usage knowledge and be comfortable working on laptop computers.
* Experience in the use of EMR systems with preferably prior experience with eClinical Works.
* Experience in stress testing, stress echos, Holter monitors, and triage a plus.
* Outstanding organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* An enthusiastic and trustworthy team player.
* Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced environment with ability to work jointly with others or independently with excellent time management skills.
