Currently hiring for a RN for our Cardiology outpatient practice in Norwalk, CT

• Position: Full Time - Registered Nurse
• Schedule: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm - Monday - Wednesday in Norwalk /Thursday & Friday in Wilton
• Salary: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour (DOE)
• Must have NYS RN license, BSN (highly preferred), ASN (required)

Knowledge of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) with a scheduling system preferred, but not required.

The RN Cardiac nurse responsibilities:

• Administer stress tests and electrocardiograms -- or EKGs -- to patients suspected of having heart murmurs, blockages and other cardiovascular complications.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, prepare them for open-heart surgery, and administer medications.
• Report their patients' statuses to doctors and surgeons and communicate with their families and friends.
• Educate and teach people to preserve their cardiovascular health.
