Summary: Cardiology Services Manager - Cath Lab Manager
The Manager of Cardiology Services is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the assigned departments in their hospital on a 24 hour/7 day/week basis. The manager expertly manages the care of a patient population and practices expert critical thinking when in the clinical setting. Acts as a liaison between patients, team members, physicians, other customers and administration. Ensures patient care is in accordance with evidence based practices, and activities are aligned with the clinical service line and the strategic plan. Administers the laboratory in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Delegates job responsibilities, which will ensure quality, and encourage patient welfare and safety. Will also be responsible for partnering with administration and physicians to grow cardiovascular business at their hospital. Required Certification & Licensure includes ACLS and RN or RCIS.
Scope of leadership includes Cardiac Cath Lab, Cath Lab Admissions & Recovery, Non-Invasive Cardiology and Cardiac Rehab.
