Job Overview
We are seeking two highly motivated Medical Assistants to join our dynamic team at our Cardiology & Primary Care Medical Office. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in patient care, medical billing, and prior authorizations. Spanish fluency is preferred to better serve our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing examination rooms, and documenting patient histories.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing medical records.
• Process medical billing and insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
• Obtain prior authorizations for procedures, tests, and medications as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure a positive healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Previous experience working in a medical office setting is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in medical terminology, electronic health records (EHR), and medical billing software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
