Additionally, Cardiology Manager typically reports to a director. The Cardiology Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Cardiology Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. As an expansion of Summit Health’s Cardiology Department, we are seeking an NP or PA (new graduates considered) to expand services in our growing department. This unique position would be responsible for conducting cardiac stress tests to include but not limited to chemical and exercise stress testing, cardiac loop recorders, triage, thoracentesis, biologic injections and seeing same day urgent visits. This position will provide support and collaborate with physicians and APP’s with coordination of patient care in the office setting. There is no call or hospital rounding responsibilities for this position.
