Cardiology Supervisor supervises daily operations within the cardiology department. Monitors the work of staff members and ensures quality of tests, procedures, and other aspects of patient care. Being a Cardiology Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Additionally, Cardiology Supervisor may require licensure or certification in an area of specialty. The Cardiology Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university. Successfully completed a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner or specialty as defined. One to two years related experience. Must have the ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints. Must have Ohio and WV license. Ohio certification required.
