We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Supervisor to lead our team specializing in commercial refrigeration projects!

As a Construction Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects in the commercial refrigeration industry.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities for supermarket refrigeration projects, including new installations, renovations, and retrofits, from project initiation to completion.
• Provide leadership and direction to construction teams, ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.
• Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand scope of work, project requirements, and scheduling constraints.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, assess quality of workmanship, and identify any issues or obstacles.
• Coordinate with project managers and all trades to procure materials, equipment, and resources needed for construction activities, and ensure timely delivery to job sites.
• Communicate effectively with clients, and all trades to provide project updates, address concerns, and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Supermarket install/Start Up Supervisor or similar role, with a minimum 2 years of experience in commercial construction in the commercial refrigeration industry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems and equipment; refrigeration piping, fixture setting, pump down and startup of refrigeration systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and all trades.
• Must be able to work out of town and nights (weekends off)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
