    Traveling to North Kingstown and/or Westerly offices is required 


    Responsibilities: To provide evidence-based, trauma-informed case management & vocational education, financial literacy, job placement support to clients referred through RI Works partnership:

    • Track client participation in all programs & services and enter into EARR, CODECT system and any other system mandated by agency or department contract as necessary within established deadlines on an ongoing basis.
    • Maintain the confidentiality, safety and integrity of all source documents used for data entry including, but to limited to, bi-weekly attendance sheets, participant applications & eligibility documents, daily sign-in sheets / weekly activity logs, professional development logs, and staff service hour forms.
    • Monitor outcomes of participants in program activities and follow up services.
    • Provide support to Assistant Director in completing monthly RI Works performance reports.
    • Conduct comprehensive intakes and assessments on clients assigned to your caseload. 
    • Provides and supports vocational training and career development classes, utilizing approved curriculum and resource materials.
    • Provide introductory client workshops emphasizing Career Exploration, Work Preparation & Job Placement workshops as necessary in helping clients achieve short-, mid- and long-term goals. 
    • Maintain current and accurate record keeping for client files in accordance with standards of case management program, Medicaid, and accreditation where applicable. Direct all client inquiries to appropriate agency departments, if applicable.
    • Maintaining department postings, training opportunities and job boards.
    • Assist RI Works Director and Assistant Director with regular on-going client monitoring reviews.
    • Provide Case Management assistance and support to Director relative to ensuring regular contact, compliance and documentation is maintained in required data management system.
    • Forward email and surface mail inquiries appropriately.
    • Submit any reports and/or documents in accordance with required content and frequency as mandated by agency, department or contract specifications including, but not limited to, those outlined in the Reporting; Profiles; and Participant File protocols.
    • Provide instruction in all applicable partnership components as needed, including; life skills, work based learning, career exploration, goal planning, behavior management, stress management and parenting.
    • Establishes supportive relationships with clients that are referred by RI Works partnership.
    • Attend professional development meetings/seminars to ensure that best practices are being implemented where and whenever possible and to ensure that the annual goal of 50 hours is met. 
    • Monitor & track key client metrics tied to program performance milestones, including; entered employment, credential, and maintained employment 5 th quarter after exit, for the purpose of supporting financial goals related to approved department budget. 
    • Attend all scheduled meetings as required by agency or department.
    • To complete all paperwork required for data generation in a timely fashion as determined by RIW Director
    • Collaborate with other CAP programs and administration to ensure coordination of efforts and resources and the smooth implementation of services.
    • Attend and participate in all agency public relations activities as appropriate.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications: Good computer skills including Word, Excel and basic data entry. Familiarity with Internet and social media helpful but will train. Minimum Associates degree but Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidate must be detail oriented and able to complete tasks with minimum supervision. Good phone/communication skills necessary. Based on the high volume of Spanish speakers currently enrolled or referred to this program, bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required
