Counselor
The Behavioral Health Counselor counsels and aids individuals and families with general counseling, to include behavioral and individual and/or family issues; mental illness; and/or substance abuse.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field required. LISW, LMSW, LPC or LMFT license in the State of South Carolina required. One to three years' experience in a primary healthcare setting preferred. Must have excellent clinical counseling skills and the ability to work independently, interfacing with outside agencies. Current knowledge of community resources and therapeutic interventions. Excellent written and verbal communications skills required. Experience with electronic medical records preferred. Must maintain a South Carolina Drivers License. Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. Must be flexible to the changing needs of the Center. Must have the ability to work as a team player at all times. CPR certification required.
