Career Services Director manages the operation of student career service office to provide job opportunities and career counseling services. Markets the university's Career Services program and its graduates for existing employer relationships and for the development of new employer relationships. Being a Career Services Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to head of a unit/department. The Career Services Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Position Summary:
This position is responsible for meeting College placement goals/outcomes and impacting the career preparedness of students. The Career Services Advisor will develop relationships with students to engage, prepare, coach, and motivate them towards procuring gainful employment while also building successful relationships with businesses to ultimately help place Online Education graduates in their field. Additionally, the Advisor will serve as a resource expert in specific industry verticals, overall employment trends, and national salary averages for both students and internal departments within the college.

Starting Salary:
$43,500 per year ($20.91 per hour)
This position is eligible for overtime.
