Job Description
The Career Services Student Worker provides administrative and clerical support to the associates of the Center for Career and Professional Development Department at Post University.
Location: Post University Main Campus - Center for Career and Professional Development, North 103
Supervisor: Camille Dumont, Director of Career Services
Rate of Pay: $14.00/hour
This position requires 10-20 hours per week and is a year-round opportunity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Career Services Student Worker is to assist with the daily operations of the Post University Center for Career and Professional Development Department which includes, but is not limited to:
- Cover Front Desk during open office hours i.e., greet students, answer phones, take messages, make appointments in Acuity
- Assist with the CCPD data input to platforms used in the department
- Social media content as directed
- Help in setting up career events. i.e. Job Fairs, Employer Events, Workshops
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Minimum Skills, Training, and Attributes
- Must be a current student at Post University
- Excellent Customer Service Skills- Friendly, helpful and eager to learn
- Student must have strong organizational and communication skills
- Must be creative and have the ability to think outside of the box
- Computer skills – (Microsoft Office, Excel, CNS)
