Career Services Manager

Job Description:

The Career Services Manager will be responsible for providing career counseling and job placement services to students and alumni. The manager will work closely with employers to develop job opportunities and partnerships. The manager will also be responsible for organizing career fairs, workshops, and other events to help students and alumni prepare for their careers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide career counseling and job placement services to students and alumni
• Develop job opportunities and partnerships with employers
• Organize career fairs, workshops, and other events to help students and alumni prepare for their careers
• Assist with resume and cover letter writing, interviewing skills, and job search strategies
• Maintain accurate records of student and alumni job placements
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and job market information
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate career development into the curriculum

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in counseling, education, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in career services or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of career development theories and job search strategies
• Experience with career services software and databases
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
