Job Opportunity: Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk for Eickhof Columbaria Inc.

Location: 1200 Bruce Street, Crookston, MN 56716

Position Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7 AM-5:30 PM.

Salary: $22-$25/ hour

Responsibilities: As a bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth financial operations of our company. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP): Process invoices, track payments, and manage vendor accounts.
2. General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using accounting software.
3. Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
4. Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
5. Payroll Processing: Ensure timely and accurate payroll for employees.
6. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
7. Compliance: Stay up-to-date with tax regulations and ensure compliance.

Qualifications: We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Associate Degree in Accounting and 3 years of relevant experience: Candidates with an Associate Degree in accounting or a related field are encouraged to apply. However, Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and especially Excel.
• Proficient in the use of accounting software (QuickBooks Enterprise) for record-keeping, producing reports, file maintenance, and follow-up.
• Familiarity with Avalara (sales tax), Bill.com (payables), GUSTO (payroll), TSheets Worldwide (time-keeping), MONDAY (project management).
• Detail Oriented and Organized
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work in fast-paced situations when necessary.
