    Responsibilities (including but are not limited to)

     

    • In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a diverse and innovative team to evaluate and design power systems at power-generating facilities.
    • Understand roles played by other disciplines on the project and is able to coordinate and interface with other engineering disciplines.
    • Participate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings, and data prepared by other engineers or subcontractors.
    • Prepare design studies, project scopes, and engineering estimates.
    • Manage budget, scope, schedule, and quality associated with the designated work assignment with minimal guidance and technical oversight.
    • Prepare electrical equipment procurement and installation specifications and can evaluate technical bids and select equipment.
    • Devise new approaches to technical problems.  Broad knowledge of precedents in the industry.

     

    Required Qualifications / Skills

     

    • Bachelor’s in electrical engineering from an accredited university and Minimum 1-2 years of design experience.
    • Experience in electrical codes, standards, and criteria for power systems.
    • Proficient in Word and Excel.
    • Good writing, presentation, and communication skills.
    • Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
    • Willing to travel and participate in field installation, checkout, and start-up.

     

    Employment Requirements

     

    • Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings; ENERCON and client specific background checks; and an annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies
    • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks. Position may involve a client site assignment lasting several months at a time.
    •  Must be legally eligible to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.

     

    Salary

    The salary range for this full-time position is $86,000.00-$99,600.00. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
