Career Services Director jobs in Tampa, FL

The Regional Coordinator of Career Services actively promotes and develops career development training for students and employment opportunities for graduates for two or more campuses. The Regional Coordinator of Career Services is directly accountable to the VP of Strategic Business Development and Career Services.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
• Prior related experience in staffing industry or related industry
• Ability to work extended hours (which will include evenings and weekends), in order to meet business objectives.
• Travel between Lakeland and Tampa Campuses

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Works to place students in the field for which they are trained. The caseload will include assigned graduates at each campus per year.
• Conducts market outreach, job and externship development
• Develops and maintains employer and community contacts
• Prepares student files and ensure completion of all necessary documentation as well as Assist VP of Strategic Business Development and Career Services with auditing student placement files
• Provides career development opportunities for students on an on-going basis
• Develops, implements, and continuously enhances employability skills workshops as part of curriculum
• Maintains accurate database of student and graduate files
• Actively participates in on-campus events, programs and promotions
• Assists with coordination of annual graduation ceremony, program advisory board meetings, and job fairs
• Assists with preparation of annual reports as required by regulatory agencies
• Manages and updates job orders
• Proactive follow-up and tracking of all graduates with the Academic team
• Prepares students for and conducts exit interviews and/or portfolio reviews
• Supports VP of Strategic Business Development and Career Services by assisting with staff training and auditing files.
