ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Compiles financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions
• Audits orders and vouchers and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions.
• Establishes, modifies, documents, and coordinates implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures
• Month-end inter-group receivable confirmations 
• Manage and analyze Bank Account Activity. 
• Liaison with Corporate office on incoming and outgoing cash.     
• Support outgoing Cash Forecasting process
• Post Cash transactions in ERP system, including Daily Lockbox Transactions. 
• Support Credit and Collections with research as required
• Assist Accounts Payable with Supplier Invoicing/Account issues. 
• Perform research in ERP system to identify root cause and initiate corrective actions
• Analyze I/C GRNI and GDNI accounts. Research issues and coordinate corrective actions with responsible departments   
• Support MEC process. Prepare Journal Entries and Reconciliations for specific accounts pertaining to AR/AP. 
• Process I/C invoicing for AP  
• Ensure inter-company accounts receivable and accounts payable tie
• Document and train staff on processes, for both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Develop new procedures as a change agent to optimize process performance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with one (1) to three (3) years of experience in Accounting/Finance.
• Must have proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• ERP knowledge a plus
• Demonstrate problem solving skills
• Influence people and communicate effectively
• Meet deadlines in a high-volume environment with competing priorities
• Normal office environment
