We are part of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (Carpenters Union 312). We have a new training center in Charlotte, NC and we are looking to grow our apprenticeship in NC. We are looking for people with little to no experience in carpentry and up to two years of carpentry experience to become apprentices. We have two apprenticeship programs in Millwrighting and Carpentry. Both of our apprenticeships are 4 years long. Once you are accepted into our apprenticeship program you will be paired with one of our contractors for work and you will be given your class schedule. Our local covers all of NC and most of SC travel is very likely but per diem is offered if you live 60 miles or more from your assigned jobsite. Per year your required to take 4 classes (carpenters) or 5 classes (millwright) per year. If you come to class as scheduled and work with our contractors, you will receive a 5% raise every six months in January and July. We host open interviews in Charlotte at 1928 Back Creek Drive Charlotte, NC.
