Carpenter constructs, maintains, and remodels buildings or related structures. Installs, fixes, or modifies all aspects of a building, including walls, ceilings, floors, and stairs, as well as related structures like railings, doors, windows, and air conditioning systems. Being a Carpenter follows blueprints and plans to ensure requirements and specifications are met. Observes all worksite safety procedures and guidelines. Additionally, Carpenter inspects buildings to determine repair that needs to be done. An apprenticeship and/or formal training may be required. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Carpenter works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Some may possess specialized skill sets while being less skillful in other areas of construction while others may possess a well-rounded skill set but are lacking in years of experience.

QUALIFICATIONS
Construction Carpenters:
Minimum of one (1) year commercial construction experience
Overnight Travel (Monday - Friday) may be required on a per project basis
Service Carpenters:
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a directly related carpentry field
Some overnight travel may be required.
Must possess a valid drivers license and the ability to obtain a Medical DOT Card
