Carpenter jobs in El Paso, TX
Carpenter constructs, maintains, and remodels buildings or related structures. Installs, fixes, or modifies all aspects of a building, including walls, ceilings, floors, and stairs, as well as related structures like railings, doors, windows, and air conditioning systems. Being a Carpenter follows blueprints and plans to ensure requirements and specifications are met. Observes all worksite safety procedures and guidelines. Additionally, Carpenter inspects buildings to determine repair that needs to be done. An apprenticeship and/or formal training may be required. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Carpenter works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. - Recruit and refer commercial carpenters
- Keep track of citizenship status, rate of pay and general competency of other carpenters
- Communicate clearly with Jetton in English while communicating clearly with the carpenters in Spanish
- Must have years of experience working as a commercial carpenter, preferrably in grocery and/or big box stores
Requisitos
- Fluently bilingual in Spanish and English
- Experienced in commercial carpentry
