Carpenter constructs, maintains, and remodels buildings or related structures. Installs, fixes, or modifies all aspects of a building, including walls, ceilings, floors, and stairs, as well as related structures like railings, doors, windows, and air conditioning systems. Being a Carpenter follows blueprints and plans to ensure requirements and specifications are met. Observes all worksite safety procedures and guidelines. Additionally, Carpenter inspects buildings to determine repair that needs to be done. An apprenticeship and/or formal training may be required. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Carpenter works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Trillium Construction is now seeking Carpenters for a direct hire position in the Tri County Miami FL area.
Carpenters will be working in the various environments : high end restaurants, high end hotels and other commercial facilities.
Carpenters will be responsible for rough and finish carpentry duties such as : reading blueprints, erecting framework for structures and laying subflooring, build and installing partitions and cabinet work, fit and install doors, windows, interior and exterior trim, and perform waterproof finishing on all projects.
Travel is required for this position but employees will be home every night.
The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 45-50 hours per week. Pay for this position is $30. Employees will receive a company vehicle as well as a gas card.
