Being a Carpenter follows blueprints and plans to ensure requirements and specifications are met. Observes all worksite safety procedures and guidelines. Additionally, Carpenter inspects buildings to determine repair that needs to be done. An apprenticeship and/or formal training may be required. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Carpenter works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.     We also run a secondary business, Performance Turf Innovations LLC, where we design custom artificial grass landscaping solutions, including premium golf greens that can incorporate sand bunkers & chipping areas as well as intricate landscaping and dog runs. Often we need help on both crews so turf install experience is a plus!

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are visually appealing and well-maintained. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

    Duties:

    -Spring & Fall Cleanups
    - Perform various landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning and edging lawns
    - Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the overall appearance of outdoor spaces
    - Use power tools and equipment to complete landscaping projects (ie. trimmers, weed whackers, backpack blowers)
    - Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify and address any issues or concerns
    - Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning walkways and removing debris
    - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
    - Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

    Experience:

    - Previous experience in landscaping or related field is preferred but not required
    - Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and best practices
    - Familiarity with operating power tools and equipment used in landscaping
    - Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions
    - Driver's License and reliable transportation
    - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
    - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
