Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are visually appealing and well-maintained. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Duties:
-Spring & Fall Cleanups
- Perform various landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning and edging lawns
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the overall appearance of outdoor spaces
- Use power tools and equipment to complete landscaping projects (ie. trimmers, weed whackers, backpack blowers)
- Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify and address any issues or concerns
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning walkways and removing debris
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in landscaping or related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with operating power tools and equipment used in landscaping
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions
- Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
