POSITION SUMMARY

Provide finished, high quality recognition products using approved procedures; maintain raw material inventories; audit and package products according to customer specifications; responsible for the safe and proper operation of machines in the production of recognition displays and plaques.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set-up and operate woodworking equipment including, but not limited to miter saw, table saws, sanders, routers, planer, joiner, shaper, drill press and CNC
• Assemble all donor recognition systems by reviewing designs, determining best process and schedule to ensure on-time completion. Determine best manufacturing process including which equipment to be used, application of specific adhesives and assembly of finished product
• Maintain an accurate inventory of necessary supplies to ensure deadlines are met
• Perform finish work including painting, staining and varnishing of products
• Verify all finished products have been produced to customer’s specification
• Procuring materials needed to complete work orders

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma/GED

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Communication
• Basic woodworking skills or knowledge, or the desire to be trained
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
• Experienced with measuring equipment and instruments
• Strong work ethic
• Fork lift operation
• Clear attention to detail/detail oriented
• Problem solving
• Demonstrating patience
• Collaboration with teammates
