Case Management Director oversees a staff of case managers responsible for patient care coordination. Develops and implements case management programs, including utilization review, intake or discharge planning, and managed care contracting or negotiation. Being a Case Management Director evaluates patient care data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Seeks treatments that balance clinical and financial concerns with the family's needs and the patient's quality of life. The facility is a fully licensed psychiatric residential treatment center and alcohol and drug treatment center for children ages 10-12 and adolescents ages 13-17. Village Behavioral Health is located on 65 acres of land, secluded on a peninsula of the Tennessee River. The location provides a significant therapeutic environment for adolescents in a wilderness setting. Village Behavioral Health has a ropes course and swimming pool and operates a vocational program and activity therapy department.
