We are currently seeking an experienced in full-time Office Manager to work our offices located in Hanover and York, PA.
Job Summary
The Office Manager maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, controlling correspondence, maintaining filing systems, reviewing and approving time records, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
Essential Functions:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of administrative and clinical staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Monthly staff meetings.
- Assist with interviewing and hiring of office staff.
- Patient Care: Ensure that patients receive outstanding care and service. Coordinate care for patients and their families. Work closely with the front office administrative team at our Podiatry clinics for referrals.
- Office Operations: Oversee daily office operations, including appointment scheduling, patient registration, verifying insurance eligibility and benefit information, and medical record management.
- Compliance: Ensure that the clinic adheres to all relevant healthcare regulations and maintains compliance with policies and procedures. Ensure 100% compliance with HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage clinic supplies and equipment.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to maintain the highest standards of patient care.
- Reporting: Generate reports and analyze data to track clinic performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Staff Training: Provide training and support to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Cross training of staff for versatile staffing. Take responsibility when the office team makes mistakes in coaching and learning sessions.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor on an as needed basis.
Core Competencies/Skills Required:
Required:
- A minimum of 2 years of leadership as a medical office manager.
- High school Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Leadership qualities with good communication skills.
- Conflict Resolution skills are a must.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA & OSHA compliance.

- Listening well and continuously learn and seek advice and feedback from others.
- Team builder, leader, and manager – creates culture of positivity.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,
- PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Familiarity with phone systems and other office equipment.
Preferred:
- 1 year experience as a Cardiovascular/ vascular office manager.
- Bachelors degree in healthcare management, business administration, or related
- field.
- Experience with Athena EHR

- Pay is based on experience and education. Our pay range is $60,000 - $65,000.
