Case Manager, Sr. coordinates the overall interdisciplinary plan of care for patients, from admission to discharge. Monitors care and acts as a liaison between patient/family, healthcare personnel, and insurers. Being a Case Manager, Sr. evaluates the needs of the patient, the resources available, and recommends and facilitates the plan for the best outcome. Develops a discharge plan that provides the best available resources to meet ongoing patient needs and that encourages compliance with medical advice. Additionally, Case Manager, Sr. identifies patient care issues and suggests revisions to or new clinical pathways to improve quality of care. May also be responsible for conducting utilization reviews. Typically requires a bachelor's degree of Nursing. Typically reports to a head of a department/unit. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). The Case Manager, Sr. contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     This position serves as the Senior Project Manager and as a task order manager.  This position will provide oversight and task order leadership for the Capabilities Development Division (CDD) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. 

    Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership and oversight on the CDD/MOWRO task order and team. 
    • Responsible for day-to-day management of various systems and operational capabilities and integrating efforts on various projects.
    • Responsible for the oversight of technical projects or definable operations of a larger technical program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
    • Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities. 
    • Responsible for follow-on business and activities associated with assigned projects and for supporting new and additional business development.
    • Works with the Chief Engineer to perform technical support and independent risk assessment and evaluation of program execution, technical reviews, and task order efforts.
    • Coordinates customer activities and contractor, subcontractor, and vendor oversight efforts throughout the system lifecycle.
    • Provide assessments of program status and milestones.
    • Ensure program documentation is aligned with operational standards (ISO 9001)
    • Engages and coordinates with customer stakeholders on behalf of Company leadership to resolve issues in line with management’s intent and priorities.
    • Communicate and focus your team on contract and company standards to all engineers and professionals in the team.
    • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
    • Ensures adherence to quality and safety standards and reviews project deliverables. 
    • Supervising every phase of the projects from start to completion.
    • Review and calculate cost, material, labor, and time for project.
    • Approve designs, technical approaches, budgets, and schedules.
    • Delegate tasks as required to engineering teams.
    • Supervise staff training as well as equipment installations.
    • Perform quality control checks on all systems and products.
    • Acknowledge and reward good work.
    • Analyze data and draft reports for review

    Required Experience/Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of supervisory experience or equivalent and at least 5 years of Engineering Management experience
    • At least 4 years of experience leading or supervising a team.
    • Sound understanding of engineering principles.
    • Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) systems and principles.
    • Ability to understand technical diagrams and issues.
    • Understanding of various government contract methods and approaches.
    • Understanding of government procurement and purchasing methods.
    • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and restore morale to a team.
    • Ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to process constructive feedback and remain professional.

    Special Requirements/Security Clearance

    • Active DoD Secret Clearance required
