Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the daily and accurate processing of all monies coming into the company; both electronic funds (ACH / Wire / Credit Card) and checks.
• Set up ACH’s in Wells Fargo.
• Download daily transaction data from the bank to be input into system.
• Make sure appropriate backup is scanned in with all transactions.
• Manage relationship with bank lockbox. Escalate any issues to appropriate banking contact.
• Implement Tenant Portal. Must be able to manage project to make sure IT / Internal Controls / AR / Tenant Needs are all met.
• Reviewer on credit memos, tenant accelerations, and tenant refunds.
• Manage NSF process in terms of both proper system application and tenant notification.
• Other related projects as needed.
• Provide development and training of department staff.

Experience / Qualifications

• 5 years in real estate accounting with experience in collections, AR, and banking.
• Experience using bank lockbox services and/or electronic tenant portal.
• Experience using real estate accounting software (MRI preferred).
• Knowledge of internal controls around secure banking information.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $105,000 Anually
