Cash Flow Analyst monitors the cash flow into and out of the organization. Shifts funds as needed in order to maintain liquidity requirements. Being a Cash Flow Analyst initiates or approves transfers or deposits in response to the funding needs of the organization. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Additionally, Cash Flow Analyst typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Cash Flow Analyst works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day utilization and reconciliation of multiple bank accounts
- Ensure adequate and effective cash flow management
- Receive and enter all incoming invoices and accounts payables for multiple lines of business, ensuring accurate and timely payment
- Generate checks, payments, and various transfers
- Maintain vendor files and update vendor information as needed
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliation
- Make deposits and other bank transactions as needed
- Support other accounting and administrative needs within the organization
Experience:
- Must have cash-flow management experience. Associate degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices are required
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks, AppFolio or similar systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with tax regulations related to accounts payable processes is a plus
