- Position Summary:Indelco Plastics Corporation is looking for a multi-tasker to work in our Omaha, NE. office to make deliveries of product to customers' locations; work in the warehouse in receiving, stocking, filling orders, and general maintenance, & cleaning in warehouse; provide customer service by processing bids, orders, and returns as necessary; answer questions and concerns from customers and vendors. Driver Duties: On a daily basis, coordinate with the Manager the deliveries of product or material to proper destination. Properly loads product and material on company delivery trucks to prevent damage during shipment, double checking against shipping papers for accuracy. Delivers and unloads product on customer's premises, collects payment if COD, and obtains signature for receipt of goods delivered. On a daily basis inspect the condition of the delivery truck, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Complete Vehicle Maintenance Request form and turn into Delivery Coordinator as required. Keep an updated truck driver log, all necessary paperwork, physicals when requested and any other legal requirements to drive. Maintain safe driving practices at all times, noting road conditions and product load, complying with Indelco's policies and procedures and highway rules and regulations. Special projects as assigned by Manager. Warehouse Responsibilities: Receive product by unloading vehicles, accepting deliveries, & unpacking containers. Moves product from receiving area to designated rack, shelves, or storage bin according to predetermined sequence. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves, or move orders to shipping department. Open crates, pallets, and other containers upon receiving for inspection of goods received, noting any discrepancies or damaged product to Warehouse Supervisor. Help out with the general upkeep of the warehouse area such as sweeping of floors, breaking down pallets, organizing of inventory shelves, etc. Maintain safety of building, work area, and other employees by performing all duties within safety established guidelines. Customer Service Responsibilities: Inform customer of product available for their application via phone call or face-to-face at City Desk. Processing orders including; order entry, verifying current pricing, applying any discounts, printing order, and routing order to warehouse staff. Processing any bid including; bid entry, verifying current pricing, applying any discounts, printing and conveying prices to customer, and following up on bid in a timely manner. Process any return order from assigned customers including; issuing RGA number, entering of return order, determining restock charge (if any), and routing of return paperwork to appropriate company staff. Responsible for any questions or concerns addressed to you by staff employed by accounts assigned to you, including but not limited to; billing questions, ensuring discounts are applied and are current, shipping questions, ensuring account information in the computer system is kept up to date, and conferring with appropriate outside salesperson about any pertinent information learned throughout the course of the day. Knowledge and Skills Required: To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Clean driving record with a valid driver's license. 1 year of delivery driving. 1 year of customer service experience, preferred. Ability to communicate effectively. Must be able to locate missing product in warehouse. Also must be able to backtrack what other employees have done in placing or receiving items. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Forklift experience, preferred. Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word. Strong phone skills
