    Description

    PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

    This position is responsible for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of new Cash Management services following the close of sale through initial member product usage. It ensures that products are properly set up in accordance with published service level agreements, provides implementation support to the Business Lender and line unit personnel by providing and recommending the appropriate processes for implementing a product. Work in partnership with other business lines to provide guidance and support in managing banking relationships.   

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

     

    • Represents the Credit Union to members in a courteous and professional manner.
    • Provides prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing requests and transactions.
    • Determines members’ online and cash management needs, explains various banking services offered, and processes applications related to cash management, online banking, and merchant services.
    • Monitors activities in Credit Union’s general email inbox.
    • Analyzes, prepares and presents analyzed account statements, products and services to Relationship Managers and members.
    • Visits Remote Deposit Capture members’ offices to perform regulatory required site visits and equipment installations.
    • Completes a variety of reports related to member transactions; reviews, prepares, and processes a variety of daily operational reports as well as the daily Online Banking/RDC/ACH/PosPay/Bill Pay checklist and operation certifications.
    • Resolves a variety of member complaints, disputes, and inquiries; maintains contact with members through telephone or written communication, as required.
    • Make recommendations for changes to Company’s service charges and/or enhancements to current deposit and cash management products.
    • Represent Company at community events and actively participate in community service as designated by Company community service requirements.

    SUPERVISE AND COACHING

    • Responsible for approval of all absence, annual leave, and overtime of staff.
    • Assist in the hiring, orientation, and training of staff.
    • Assist in communicating changes to centralization team.
    • Observe and assist staff with problem resolution and/or questions.

     

    RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS

     

    Supervise Approximately:  3-5 employees.

     Reports To:  SVP of MBS

    Contacts:  Frequent contact with members and staff face-to-face and by telephone.

    Qualifications


    SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel; knowledge of the use of various types of office equipment such as multi-line phones, printers and scanners.
    • Proficiency in the use of network and PC-based software applications including menu-driven work processing, spreadsheet, database, and information reporting software.
    • Ability to gather, arrange, compile, interpret, analyze, summarize and evaluate information and data to formulate conclusions and recommended actions.
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
    • Ability to interact effectively with management and staff at all levels.
    • A high level of member service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively throughout the Credit Union and to represent the Credit Union positively to current and potential members. 
    • Ability to multi-task between different stages of a cash management package (approval, set-up, install and training, etc.).
    • Must be a self-starter.
    • A thorough knowledge of all Credit Union products and services.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task and maintain well-organized electronic files.

     

    EDUCATION

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

     

    EXPERIENCE

    • 6 years of experience in business development experience with an understanding of cash management products and services required.
    • 2 years supervisory experience.

     

     

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Must have the ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, sit, climb, or balance and reach overhead and lift up to 75 lbs.
    • Sit, Stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. 
    • May be required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
    • Must have vehicle and valid driver’s license and insurance; mileage will be paid when employee uses own vehicle.
