The Cash Management Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function.     HOURS: Regular full-time 40 hours. Officer rotation on Saturdays.
    SUMMARY: The primary function is to facilitate the product development, delivery, process, and performance regarding all deposit products and types held at Field and Main Bank. The Cash Management Officer will be involved in all aspects of business development for existing, new, and prospective customers. The focus will center around individual accounts and small business and commercial deposits, along with Non-Profit deposits, and Governmental deposit opportunities. This position will be required to develop and execute regular calling programs and analyze client needs in cooperation with the Business Development initiatives and the strategic plan of the organization. This position must provide appropriate consultative solutions and be pro-active in servicing and maintaining positive working relationships with Cash Management Support, Lenders, Clients, and Prospects.
    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
    • Required: High School Graduate or the equivalent with post-secondary education (i.e. College courses or Business School courses, AIB courses) or demonstrated equivalent in work experience.
    • Desired: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
    • Desired: 3 years of prior banking experience
    • Desired: Prior Cash Management Sales, Retail Banking, Business Banking, and Business Development experience preferred.
    • Prior knowledge of account analysis, deposit administration, and Cash Management/Treasury preferred.
    • Should have Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation. If not, candidate will be expected to obtain their CTP designation.
    • Expected to attend and complete Field & Main University.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Indirect supervision of Deposit Administrations Support personnel and is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Cash Management function.
    • Promotes excellent customer service, by consistently providing customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to always help.
    • Maintains a well-developed working knowledge of the complete line of products and services offered through Field &Main.
    • Participates in on-going and intense training programs in sales, service, and products to continually enhance skills and knowledge to understand the customers’ needs and convert service opportunities into sales events.
    • Profiles customer to better understand the customer’s financial needs and offer the appropriate products.
    • Growth of Retail Deposits through direct sales, staff training, product development, and process excellence.
    • Performs product research and identifies appropriate solutions for customer requirements and satisfaction.
    • Coordinates with assigned lenders to support and develop relationships with business clients.
    • Manages client calls and contacts and meets all assigned goals.
    • Understands our competitors’ environment, capabilities, and gaps to effectively position Field & Main Bank’s services for success.
    • Understands client business goals, environments, strategies, and industry trends to become a trusted advisor and to identify solutions for customer pain points.
    • Performs risk monitoring for cash management products and services and initiate credit and risk approvals.
    • Assists cash management clients with product training and product demonstrations as needed.
    • Agrees to uphold all Company values and to promote the Culture of Care at Field and Main.
    • Performs all related duties as assigned by supervisor and Sr. Management.
    Business Development
    • This position requires the ability to provide value added solutions to customers to meet their expressed and unexpressed needs. This is considered a customer-facing position that is expected to drive relationship growth and revenue opportunities to Field & Main.
    • Cross-sells additional products for the bank to reach set goals and strategic objectives.
    • Promotes a favorable image of the bank in business activities within the community, by participating in community activities and serving on civic boards and/or committees.
    • Full utilization of the Synapsys CRM to make referrals, track successes, provide data for a greater customer experience.
    • Participates in the business development initiative by making joint calls to retention and business development calls on existing and potential new clients.
    • Serves as a member of the Business Development Committee.
