SUMMARY
The Director , Scale Account Management will lead and develop a team of Client Program Managers and Delivery Services co-owners to increase existing client satisfaction, revenue and overall consumption of D&H’s SCS value proposition and capabilities. This position will have oversight of an existing client territory that can span many clients and/or geographies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
People Management
· Planning: Define goals and determine the optimal course of action towards achieving the department/company goals.
· Organizing: Develop the proper organization structure and chain of command, which leads to organizational effectiveness and a high performing team.
· Talent Acquisition: Attract/retain, Select/hire, and promote high caliber talent to achieve the objectives of the organization.
· Coordinating: Communicate, supervise and direct relevant staff ensuring that leadership guidelines are in place to manage a function.
· Talent Management: Establish performance standards/objectives and conduct ongoing performance review discussions to ensure each employee’s performance meets set objectives to support salary action recommendations. Provide ongoing coaching and continuous training/development.
· Succession Planning: Develops successors and talent pools for key positions.
· Develop and manage budgets related to staff requirements and department fiscal goals.
Client Focus
· Lead the team in delivering the value proposition using a consultative, solution-selling style approach; emphasizing the economic value for both the company and our clients.
· Develop Sr. level relationships with clients through personal meetings, presentations, and quarterly business reviews with an emphasis on client retention and growth.
· Lead the team in generating client awareness and preferences for incremental and new services by driving messaging with/through the client-facing teams.
· Through inputs from the account team, develop an understanding of client’s needs, goals and pain points and deliver solutions around the same.
· Develop and communicate client satisfaction standards; conducting review of results and provide reporting to Sales Leadership.
· Responsible for revenue and profit delivery for assigned accounts.
Expansion Strategy/Revenue Generation
· Develop, monitor, and drive expense and sales forecasts for a portfolio of top customers across the business unit.
· Develop business strategies leveraging D&H’s solution portfolio.
· Recommend which potential revenue streams the company should pursue using financial criteria including probability of winning and resources weighed against recurring revenue stream.
· In partnership with Sales, support and participate in oral and written proposal activity for strategic accounts.
· Help drive product investments and D&H’s product roadmap by filtering feedback from the client-facing teams and changing market dynamics.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent industry experience.
· Leadership experience with ability to develop, motivate and manage a team.
· 10 years of experience in supply chain or IT distribution.
· 7 years of experience working within an ERP, data extraction, and analysis.
· 5 years of operational and logistics experience.
· 5 years of financial experience inclusive of reporting, invoicing and profitability reporting
· Excellent presentation skills – able to create and deliver content (ex. PowerPoint).
· Outstanding productivity application skills – Word, Excel, Teams, Google Docs.
