Job Summary: The Quality and Compliance Director is a part of our senior leadership team and is responsible for determining risks that impact patient safety, staff safety, an organization’s financial health, along with legal and regulatory compliance with standards set by the NMDOH, OSHA, CMS and other regulatory agencies. The Quality and Compliance Director will be responsible for working with all departments and leaders to develop and implement hospital-wide programs to enhance and ensure patient safety and high-quality care. They will be responsible for oversight of all regulatory compliance and reporting. Additionally, they will need to be well versed in the role that quality plays in Value Based Purchasing (VBP) programs. The right candidate will have had success in leading teams and working with other leaders to affect organizational change.
Minimal Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Current RN License to practice in State of NM.
5 years hospital Quality Risk experience
3 years’ Leadership experience
