This traditional, acute-care medical center is looking for a visionary Director of Surgical Services to oversee all facets of perioperative care, including Sterile Processing, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and seven state-of-the-art operating rooms. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director will collaborate with OR Charge Nurses and the Operating Room Manager to ensure the delivery of safe patient care and foster staff development. Responsibilities encompass policy development, budget management, quality control, personnel development, and Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.
Qualifications in the role of Director of Surgical Services include a valid and unrestricted RN License, demonstrate prior leadership experience in perioperative services, and hold BLS certification.
