Cash Management Director determines corporate cash requirements and oversees short-term cash assets or liabilities. Develops corporate investment strategy while maintaining liquidity. Being a Cash Management Director typically manages the organization's bank accounts, including the oversight of staff responsible for account reconciliation, transfer of funds, or purchase or sale of foreign currencies. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Cash Management Director typically reports to a top management. The Cash Management Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Cash Management Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Working side by side with our CFO and Accounting Manager to make a positive difference in the accounting and finance function. Collaborating with all departments, this individual will be responsible for providing support to the period-end accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and risk management.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Reconcile bank account and credit card accounts on a weekly basis for 78 stores.
    • Reconcile change funding and investigate any differences (amount or timing) with District Managers.
    • Research unidentified payments for proper posting.
    • Responsible for reviewing chargebacks on accounts and communication with credit card companies.
    • Responsible for period-end closing activity including report generation and distribution.
    • Communicate with the bank on changes to store change funding requirements.
    • Manage and perform payroll processing and reconciliation.
    • Support the Asset Protection group regarding safety and bank activity.
    • Provide quality, professional customer service to all internal and external customers.
    • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the accounting department.
    • Participate in team planning meetings.
    • Meet defined department goals and activity metrics.
    • Ad hoc projects as needed.

    What a Successful Cash Specialist Brings to the Table:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (Preferred).
    • One to two years of related accounting experience.
    • Certified Payroll Professional (Preferred).
    • Restaurant industry accounting experience (Preferred).
    • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Work experience should include 3 (minimum) years of demonstrated success in accounts receivable, cash applications, customer service and/or general administration.
    • Familiarity with payroll software and experience processing payroll.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external sources.
    • Strong attention to detail and goal-oriented.
    • Commitment to excellent customer service.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
    • Must be able to sit for an extended period of time and have the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
    • Thoroughly honest and forthright with impeccable integrity.
    • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and effective time-management skills.
    • Ability to create solutions that drive results.
    • Performs well in a lean, fast-paced environment. Adaptability and flexibility are necessary.
    • Ability to interact and build relationships with all levels of the Phase Three Brands Team.
