Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a Cash Application Specialist to provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts under his or her control.

Five Star is an industry leader in micro-markets, full-line vending, pantry, coffee and water services, full-service dining, catering, fresh food production, secured delivery, and sustainable products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct payment application, billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
• Perform account reconciliations
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Review AR aging to ensure compliance
• Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
• Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash, etc.
• Investigate and resolve customer queries
• Process adjustments
• Communicate with customers via phone and email
• Assist with month-end closing

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and Experience:

• Knowledge of accounts receivable
• Knowledge of office administration and procedures
• Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
• Knowledge of general accounting principals
• Proficient in excel
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
• 1-3 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience
