Cash Management Service Representative is responsible for providing cash management services to existing and potential business banking clients. Assists clients in various cash management programs while ensuring sufficient balance in the cash flows. Being a Cash Management Service Representative responds to and provides fixes for client issues and questions surrounding relevant products and/or services. Guides clients through onboarding, documentation, and implementation. Additionally, Cash Management Service Representative elevates important or complex inquiries to the appropriate manager, supervisor, or team to ensure they are resolved appropriately. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Cash Management Service Representative works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Cash Management Service Representative typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.     Summary/Purpose:

    As the Treasury Management Sales Representative, you will have a strong Treasury Management, Merchant Services and payments background. You will ensure legendary customer service is provided by delivering a consultative sales approach to help business clients assess their payment needs and deliver solutions that solve those needs. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to provide legendary service to increase customer retention resulting in non-interest income and deposit growth. You will become a subject matter expert in the Bank’s current Treasury Management and Merchant Services suite of products, and proactively monitor emerging trends and technologies. You will cultivate relationships with business clients to ensure service needs are met to foster long-term retention.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Responsible for the sale of Treasury Management and Merchant Service solutions to new clients and retention of current client relationships to ensure the department continues to grow.
    • Identify and develop Treasury Management and Merchant Services sales opportunities through various channels, such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
    • Meet and exceed objectives and goals in business development, client retention, deposit growth, fee income, cross sales, referrals, client satisfaction and knowledge of treasury management solutions.
    • Understand the customer’s business environments, strategies, and industry to provide the best solution for their situation through a consultative approach.
    • Prepare sales presentations, explain services offered, and recommend services to benefit client needs.
    • Identify opportunities to cross-sell other products and services.
    • Create and maintain a loyal consultant role for customers, prospects, and employees.
    • Support the bank's strong relationship banking culture through on-going customer contact, quality customer service and superior product knowledge.
    • Provide technical and operational support to customers.
    • Collaborate with retail and commercial teams to cross-sell bank's treasury management products.
    • Partner with Electronic Banking team to ensure implementations and on-going customer support are in line with sales goals along with assisting in treasury management annual reviews.
    • Maintain a high level of awareness and understanding of existing and new payment processing technologies, as well as industry, Bank, and client changes and trends.
    • Perform special projects as assigned.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    High School diploma or equivalent. 2 years Treasury Management sales experience required. 2 years of Merchant Service sales experience preferred. Accredited ACH Professional, Accredited Payments & Risk Professional certifications, and/or Certified Payments Professional preferred.


    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

    • Team player and team builder with exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills
    • Excellent time management, organization, and negotiation skills
    • Must be self-motivated with a proactive approach.
    • Must be dependable and work independently.
    • Knowledge of payment processing and technology and awareness of industry trends

    • Technically savvy with a deep understanding of Treasury Management and Merchant Services products and services
