About the JobThe Accounting Assistant will perform a variety of accounting and administrative tasks in support of the Accounting Team.
Responsibilities- Accounts Payable using Sage IntAcct accounting software
- Invoice & check processing.
- A/P Vendor maintenance
- Clerical duties & administrative projects
- Opening, sorting, scanning, and distributing mail
- Assist with yearly tax reporting and 1099 processing.
- Assist in monthly reconciliations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to think creatively and analytically with good problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with repetitive, task-based workload
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines and multi-task
- Strong independent work ethic
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate and enhance the team environment
- Excellent phone, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in computer software Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Accounting experience is preferred; also. experience with Accounting software, specifically QuickBooks and Sage IntAcct
