 Position summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Cash Manager to join our finance team. This is a senior-level position that requires expertise in managing cash flows, optimizing liquidity, and ensuring efficient treasury operations within a complex and multi-faceted financial environment.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Cash Flow Management:

• Develop and implement robust cash flow forecasting models to optimize liquidity across the organization.
• Monitor and analyze daily cash positions, ensuring alignment with operational needs and strategic financial goals.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand cash flow drivers and proactively address any potential liquidity challenges.

Multi-Portfolio Oversight:

• Manage and reconcile cash positions across multiple portfolios, ensuring compliance with investment policies and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend changes to investment strategies based on market conditions and organizational needs.
• Build strong relationships with portfolio managers and external investment partners.

Bank Relationship Management:

• Maintain relationships with financial institutions and banking partners.
• Negotiate banking terms and fees to optimize services and reduce costs.
• Stay informed about banking industry trends and technological advancements to recommend improvements in banking processes.

Risk Management:

• Identify and assess financial risks related to cash management activities.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization's financial assets.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes impacting treasury and cash management practices.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare and present regular reports on cash positions, liquidity, and related key performance indicators to senior leadership.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into cash management performance.
• Collaborate with finance teams to integrate cash management data into overall financial reporting.
